When we experience emotional struggles in our lives we often use terms like, "I'm falling apart."  "I can't hold it together."  "I don't know what is going on."  The essence of our struggle is that it becomes incoherent.  We no longer feel as if we can make sense of it.  The fact of the matter is there are probably very logical, consistent reasons for our struggle.  Our Intentional Recovery Programs are all about understanding the logical nature of our struggle by seeing it as an imbalance caused by stuck emotional energy and becoming Fully Aware and capable of self management.  Our program will facilitate awareness of the stuck energy and then assist in re-establishing balance and coherence. We use a variety of methods to bridge the gap between an incoherent experience and a coherent one.
Brain Training Sessions*

Individual Sessions
Therapy: This is where the focus is on your individual symptoms.  Through a combination of insight oriented, dialectical, validation, and problem-solving strategies, individual therapy helps clients to reduce maladaptive, mood-dependent behaviors and replace them with more skillful responses.
Coaching: Coaching is designed to promote skills use where it matters most — in the real world. Coaching can be especially helpful to clients when they find themselves in difficult situations and need assistance in putting the skills to work and encouragement to fight through difficulties. Coaching can occur in person or through online audio/video (Skype) or by phone.
Group Sessions
Mindfulness Skills Group: We combine different modalities such as Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other mindfulness models to develop essential skills that have been proven effective in managing symptoms of a variety of disorders.
Making the Mind-Body Connection:  This group is a highly interactive and enjoyable learning experience that enables the individual to learn more about subtle energies that occur between mind and body and how to influence them to bring out a more authentic you.

Additional Integrative Coherence Programming (as needed):
Support Group:  For those who need a place to share with others struggling with like issues.
Family Education and Support:  Family support may be provided in both group and individual family modalities.
